I understand the idea of “matching”, really, I do.  And, I don’t wear striped pants with a plaid shirt.  But, I think that we take matching a little too far sometimes.  We would not want to live in a world populated with people that look exactly like ourselves, so why do we force our dishes to live a life of oppressed individuality and forced conformity?  Live a little – think about it – your hot beverage of choice, complete with cream and sugar for those who care for it – and a little aesthetic adventure.  It’s a good way to start your day.
